Minisan(Islands)

The Upland Hardwood Forest Ecosystem is found on Wiigobiish-minis (Basswood Island). The island's name in Ojibwemowin means "basswood island."

This ecosystem can also be found on Hermit Island, the north end of Oak Island, and parts of Outer Island.
