Minisan(Islands)

The Great Lakes Pine Forests and Barrens is a globally imperiled ecosystem. It is only found on Wiisaakodewan-minis (Stockton Island) meaning "point of land" in Ojibwemowin. This refers to the island's tombolo that juts out into Lake Superior.
